Whats New - LAW API

Further enhancing LAW's work order management capability, Trilithic offers the LAW API option which allows you to integrate LAW's capabilities into many third-party applications. For example, this integration allows you to continue to use the familiar interface of your established work order system while incorporating LAW's benefits of streamlined prioritization of leaks, more efficient scheduling of repairs, and automatic or manual creation of work orders.

LAW API's versatility is further enhanced by the offering of two different communication configurations; one-way or two-way communication. With one-way configuration, LAW leakage data is sent from the API for integration into your repair scheduling system, work order management system, or GPS mapping system.

With two-way communication, your systems send results back to LAW, such as communicating the completion status of leaks.

The versatility of the LAW API is evident in the variety of data points shared by the LAW API:

  • Leak record identification number
  • LAW work order number
  • Date and time that the leak was detected
  • Latitude and longitude of the leak location
  • Interpolated amplitude of the leak
  • Nearest street address to the leak location
  • Leak status (open, closed/repaired, deleted)
  • Work order status (open, closed/repaired, deleted)
  • Repair technician assigned to the leak

Combining the leakage recording and mapping features of LAW with your existing work order management system will enhance your repair technicians’ productivity and improve the overall health of the cable plant while helping your system remain compliant with FCC leakage rules.

Think Ahead.
